Additionally, the Concert Choir has alternated serving as artists-in-residence in Galveston, Maine and Mexico and has toured both domestically and internationally.

IN PERSON AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS:

The Prospective Chorister Form and fee must both be received in our office before we will schedule an in person audition. A member of the Chorus staff will then contact you to schedule your child for his/her 5-8-minute audition slot. Please do not attend an audition date without a confirmed appointment time or we will be unable to accommodate you.

THE AUDITION is simple and merely a chance for our staff to meet your child and to make certain he or she is singing on pitch — matching the notes that are played on the piano.  We ask that the child learn and sing “MY COUNTRY ‘TIS OF THEE”.  (first verse only). You can find samples on YouTube.  We will provide words and music at the audition.  The child’s parent is not in the room when the audition takes place. One of our staff members will meet with the parent to explain commitment.
